About the Federation

 

In September 2025, we formed a federation between two outstanding nursery schools in the Walsall borough.

 

Alumwell Nursery School and Rowley View Nursery School serve two very different areas and communities, which enhances the sharing of professional expertise between nurseries. Both nursery schools will continue to maintain their individual uniqueness but will be led by one executive Headteacher – Armela Patel and one governing body.

 

The positive benefits from federating include the continued sharing of best Early Years practice, increased staff motivation, financial savings, sharing of resources and increased opportunities and experiences for all our children and families.
