Apprentice Early Years Educator (Level 3)

24 Months Fixed Term Contract
35 hours per week, term time only + Training days.

We need someone who:

  • Enjoy the outdoors with children passionate about outdoor learning and forest School
    • Be fully supportive of the ethos of the school.
    • Be willing to learn.
    • Be a positive role model in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.
    • Good time management.
    • Have the capacity, drive, passion and energy to succeed.
    • Adhere to professional conduct at all times
    • Have excellent communication skills.
    • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures Have an adaptable and professional approach to the responsibilities of the post.
    • Have good ICT skills. 

Qualifications required:

  • GCSE English and Mathematics Grade A-C /Grade 4-9
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.

The Apprenticeship wage £4.15 per hour.
If you are over 19 years old this only applies in the first year of the Apprenticeship you would then increase to the ‘wage for age’ rates: April 2020 (current rates)

Age 19 to 20 £6.45 per hour
Age 21 to 24 £8.20 per hour
Age 25 and over £8.72 per hour
